These terms explain what you can expect from Blossom Word Game, and what we expect from you. By using this site, you agree to them.
1. What These Terms Cover
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of blossomwordgames.co.uk and the Blossom Word Game puzzle available on it (together, “the Site”). The Site is operated by Ijaz Khan as an independent, individually run project.
2. Using the Site
The Site provides a free, browser-based daily word puzzle. No account, sign-up, or payment is required to play. We may offer a “practice puzzle” mode for unlimited additional play alongside the daily puzzle.
3. Independence & Trademark Notice
Blossom Word Game is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Merriam-Webster or any owner of the “Blossom” trademark in any way. Our game is inspired by the general flower-and-petal word puzzle format, but our rules, scoring, word list, and underlying code are entirely our own and may differ from any similarly named or styled game.
Any product names, logos, or trademarks referenced on this Site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and comparison purposes.
4. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Site’s underlying code, word list, or puzzle-generation logic for republication elsewhere
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to repeatedly query or overload the Site
- Copy or republish the Site’s design, text, or code without permission
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
5. Intellectual Property
The design, layout, original written content, and code of this Site belong to Ijaz Khan unless otherwise stated. The dictionary word list used to generate puzzles is drawn from openly available word-list sources and is used to power puzzle generation, not republished as a standalone product.
6. No Warranty
The Site and its puzzles are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every puzzle’s word list will be entirely free of omissions or occasional unexpected entries. We do our best to review puzzles before they go live, but we cannot guarantee perfection.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. The Site is provided for entertainment purposes.
8. Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic, and we may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which are outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Children
The Site is suitable for a general audience, including children, but is not specifically directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from any visitor regardless of age. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the internet as they see fit.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent update.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
